Benalmadena daytime ideas

Benalmadena daytime

Time to get busy in Benalmadena daytime where no stag weekend or hen doo is complete without a few activities to bond the group (and make an idiot of the stag – well, who doesn’t want to film the main man driving a go-kart in a mankini, right?!).   We love organising old favourites, like Paintball and Karting, but don’t miss the chance to try something really different like our Catamaran Cruise or Canyoning. If you’re a sports fan then you might also consider getting some golf on the agenda, or visiting the Rosaleda, home of Malaga football club. There are ton’s of things to do on your Benalmadena stag, so let us know what kind of group you are (adventurous, competitive, chilled, varied) and we’ll give you some activity suggestions to spice up your weekend.

Benalmadena by day – beaches, what to do and where to visit

By rough estimation, Benalmadena Costa has 10km of beaches running up it – the same distance it took Mo Farah almost half an hour to run when winning his Olympic gold medal! We suspect that –unlike Mo – the most exertion you’re planning on suffering is an awkward stretch from your sun-lounger to grab your mojito. However, if you do fancy exploring, there’s an awful lot of playa to check out. Here are a few of our favourites… Recommended beaches – Benalmadena

Malapesquera Beach

If you’ve only just managed to learn how to say Benalmadena correctly, then Malapesquera Beach might prove a bit of a tongue-twister. Don’t worry though, it’s unlikely that you’ll need to ask for directions – Malapesquera is the first stretch of sand that you’ll come across when venturing West from the Marina. This is a popular beach throughout the year, but since it is up to 200m deep in places, you’ll never struggle to find a space. If you’ve got the stamina, you’ll find football pitches (and volleyball nets) on the sand here, so pack your beach shoes as well as your sun cream is you fancy a kick about.

Playa de Arroyo de la Miel

Sitting at the end of the promenade which extends west from Benalmadena Marina, Playa de Arroyo de la Miel is not only a practical beach to visit, it’s also a beauty. With 700 metres of fine sand it is big and inviting, with medium sized waves that are perfect for splashing around in. As mentioned, you also have the bonus of the promenade directly behind the beach, with its array of bars and eateries. If water sports are on your agenda then you’ll be getting to know Arroyo de la Miel very well, but you don’t need a jet-ski to have a blast on this stretch of sand.

Playa La Viborilla

Fancy a beach with an almost Caribbean character? Then check out la Viborilla! This beach is located several kilometres from the Marina and isn’t the biggest. However, being cradled by rocks, and lined by palm trees this is one picturesque little fella. The waves fairly crash into the cove, but if you can battle past them with your mask and snorkel then you’ll be rewarded by some awesome underwater scenery.

Benalnatura Beach- get them off!

Usually it’s only the stag that ends up naked, but in case you all fancy getting your kit off, Banalnatura nudist beach is the place to do it. Nakedness is obligatory, so don’t be shy!

Retail Therapy for Benalmadena daytime

Shopping may or may not be part of your plans in Benalmadena, and if it isn’t you may not even notice the shops. However, if shopping (or window shopping) is your definition of a relaxing time then there are plenty of shops to peruse around Benalmadena. For clothes, jewellery, shoes and the like, head to Avenida de la Constitución (which is set back 500m, parallel to the beach). While the range of shops isn´t comparable to larger places (like Malaga, for example), there are still plenty of independant shops selling summery garments and acccessories. The majority of the tourist shops (selling towels, beachwear, souvenirs and ad-hoc holiday clobber) are located on the beachfront promenade. However, if you´re anywhere around the Marina and need emergency aftersun or a new bikini for the stag, you´ll have no problems finding a tourist store. Finally,if you are in Benalmadena on Friday morning then make sure that you check out the street market in the Tovoili World car park. It´s worth it for the spectacle alone, though if you do make any puchases, the value is excellent.

Getting around Benalmadena daytime

One of the attractions of Benalmadena daytime is that the town is compact enough to explore primarily on foot (for example, the party plaza of Solymar is only a few hundred meters from the Marina, with the beach at a similar distance). Let The Spain Event arrange you some super-central stag accommodation and you’ll be within easy striking distance of most places on your hit-list. That said, there may be times when you simply MUST have some sexy wheels, perhaps for your airport arrival or to provide the piece de resistance to your big night out. In such cases, fear not, we have a Spanish Armada style fleet of limos and stretch hummers at your disposal. Just say the word and you can be glugging champagne in the back seat, windows down, Biggie blaring from the sound system (of course, other hip-hop artists are available…) We guarantee, you’ll be grinning from ear to ear!
