For a Madrid booze cruise, Spain’s landlocked capital as long been the poor relation of other locations like Barcelona, Majorca and Valencia. Meaning hard-partying hens were, unfortunately, missing out. When it comes to boat parties, great nautical adventures have traditionally not set sail from the Madrid ports. That is probably because there are no ports, or significant bodies of water in Madrid itself (barring the rowing boats in Retiro Park or our sterling kayak polo match held in a park lake).
However, being landlocked always seemed a flimsy excuse for not providing partying hens a good sail and a booze up, so…we are delighted to say that Madrid’s very own booze cruise is now available ! And the good news is, you won’t get seasick, as the Tagus river is unlikely to raise the type of swell you’d find on the Mediterranean or Atlantic.
Our booze cruise is held on a riverboat that sets sail from only 25-30 minutes outside Madrid and sails you through a verdant and lush Tagus river setting. And speaking of lush: the Madrid booze cruise includes unlimited drinks (yes free bar!) including beer, sangría, spirits, and cocktails like mojitos and caipirinhas.
To keep the party going, there’s clubbing music, and karaoke if you wish, we’ll also throw in some club entry for when you get the crew back on dry land ! You’ll be in the safe hands of our expert captain (who’ll lay off the Rum till he’s back on dry land) – and he’ll make sure you don’t end up in Madrid with a shocking hangover! All in all it’s a river boat parry lasting 2 hours 30 minutes and well worth the short trip from Madrid.
For those of you who ain’t too worried about the cruise, but want the booze, try this pub crawl in Madrid for hens. You’ll love it, there’ll be lots of boys, and not so many buoys!
