What’s included?

A glass of cava to get you ready for more mouth action.
An expert cocktail barman will get your taste buds fizzing by preparing, explaining and serving samples of at least 4 cocktails.
If you have favourite cocktails you'd like to learn please let us know in advance.
Our bar staff will also give you tips on where to continue the party after the class.

Typical schedule

1845: Meet our bartender at a central Porto bar
1900: The cocktail class and fun begins
2030: Wow, feeling good after that? Time for more bars and clubbing? Our bartender will help you out with ideas and directions!
We are very flexible, so just ask if you would like other timings.

What else do I need to know ?

The precise components of the class may vary but you can expect to sample at least 4 cocktails, decide by our barman (but fee free to make requests!)
Samples are usually served in small sample glasses
The total amounts you can expect to consume are at least 2 full cocktails and wine to accompany
We are happy to adapt to your custom requirements where possible: background music requests, the cocktails to be mixed and even the quantities.
We are also happy to make VIP nightclub bookings and provide advice for where to go after the class! You will not be stuck for choices!

Porto Hen Weekend

Shake and stir

Hens it would be silly to visit this marvellous city, a place soaked gloriously in the traditions of fine alcohol, without sampling some wicked mixes. And not only sampling. Our Porto cocktail class will educate you in the mixing of caipirinhas, pink gins and some of these tasty and appetising cocktails mixed with port wine.

With a first rate Porto cocktail barman as your guide, you can grab the shaker and measuring cup to show off by mixing like a true cocktail bar virtuoso. This is one of our Porto hen weekend musts and we reckon you’ll love it.

What’s in our Porto cocktail class?

We’ll start with a glass of local wine (and that’s some wine, being Porto…) and your barista will focus your attention on mixing some delightful concoctions. Expect a seriously watering mouth that will get you appropriately thirsty and well up for some serious partying and nightlife after the class.

Slosh or drizzle in some vodka, gin, rum, tequila, or even the local speciality Port wine. Splash over some crushed ice and add an exotic fruit juice. And don’t forget that weird wee bottle wrapped in paper that is the enigmatic heart of so many cocktails Angostura bitters.

Porto cocktail class is a mix workshop that gets you shaking and quivering…and perfecting your drinking skills! Just the thing for budding mixologists for anyone who loves their drinking.
