Sunshine, golf and football the beer ? Get in there ! Tee off for a round of Barcelona foot golf. Nothing is out of bounds … this is the simplest way to golf a round in the sunshine near Barcelona (approx 1 hour transport). Compete against your mates for bragging rights….and the great thing is, it’s the round of golf you ca have without having to learn to play golf.
Not Seve Ballesteros’s cup of tea maybe but foot golf in Barcelona is a safe bet for a stag. Safer than real golf anyway. You’ll avoid turning up with assorted non-handicapper bandits hack up a perfectly good course by swinging golf clubs. Take them to the Barcelona foot golf instead.
“Why swing your shaft when you can kick..?”
Barcelona foot golf is the perfect synthesis of two skill sets: Golf and football. Well, instead of not making at either of those, then you might as well have a go at the mix. Anyone with a slightly educated right (or left) foot can be good at this one, and you don’t have to Messi (although it would help your reception in the clubhouse afterwards if you were no doubt around here…)
Foot Golf Barcelona is played an 18-hole par 72 course with differing difficulties and pars for each hole (which vary from 30 metres to 70 metres) . Can you keep on the manicured fairways or are you the type of footballer that skies it over the bar or into touch ? Your goal, of course is your green, and instead of nets there’s a cup!
At the beginning of each hole you’ll see any dog’s legs or tricky traps so you can work out your best bet for foot-powered drives and approached.
Great thing about foot golf is “you’re already an expert! After the Barcelona foot golf winners celebrate their incredible victory, might we suggest something more civilised for the evening like a guided bar crawl around Barcelona’s port area ?
