- The time the night ends is pretty much up to you!
- In most bars, free shots will be served after you buy a round!
- The Portuguese love to party late, so expect bars and clubs to liven up much later than in the UK and other countries. (Peak Bar: 1100, Peak Club: 0300 +)
- Our guides will always do their best to recommend the best bars and pubs to suit your expectations. Let us know if there are specific bars or clubs you have heard about that take you fancy. These may not be included as venues for complimentary free entrance or shots however.
- We know it's your big night out and we've been round the block. But drunken, abusive or intimidatory behaviour towards guides, suppliers' staff or other members of the public is not on. If this happens, our guides will discontinue the activity.
Drink in the quality of Porto
Porto is full of great places go out and drink. We wouldn’t recommend it for your stag otherwise. The old town centre is indeed a hive of drink-fuelled seeing and being seen. A true party inside and outside the Porto bars. But you’ll need to work out where to go. Our Porto bar crawl comes in very handy. Our local Porto guide will take care of everything. He or she will take you to the best places and the liveliest action.

Where to find Porto bars
Central Porto is lively by night. The city centre is a buzzing scene for young and older party animals, ranging from the laid back and informal to über trendy clubs-bars. You’ll find all these shapes and sizes of bars and clubs near areas such as Rua Candido dos Reis, Aliados, and Torre dos Clerigos.

Our Porto bar crawl includes free shots and entry to one of Porto’s best nightclubs. It is orchestrated by one of our nightlife guides in Porto. We’ll let you know which one of our staff will fix it for you in plenty time and arrange for you to meet her (or him) at a convenient central spot (that could be your apartment or hotel if you are staying centrally.
In the time-honoured tradition of Portuguese city drinking you and your mates can expect to spend a lot of the time outside on the atmospheric streets drinking beers and watching the you-know-what go by. We reckon that is a wonderful way to do people watching!
