Madrid Baby Bull Running
Madrid Baby Bull Running | It sure tests your mettle!
Madrid baby bull running is a once-in-a-lifetime experience. A treat for temporary toreros. A “Madrid capea” is a traditional and uniquely Spanish way to celebrate a special occasion.
And to a get a horn perilously near your bottom. In classic Spain style lots of food and drink are included.
NO ANIMALS ARE HARMED – WE ARE ACTIVE OPPONENTS OF CRUEL SPORTS.
Forget Hemingway’s Death in The Afternoon. No animals are harmed here. And being Spain, the whole thing is resolved sitting in the afternoon sun with copious measures of food, wine and mirth.

Your mate – the matador
For stag organisers who want to bathe in the respect and admiration of their group (admit it, that’s you…) this introduction to a real bull-running Madrid capea just has to be the one.
You’ll learn a lot about becoming a bullfighter and taking on those brave bulls. Our Madrid Baby Bull Running package includes a great Spanish BBQ sitting outdoors including beer and wine.
All in all this is a hilarious and unusual Madrid activity. You’ll spend at least one hour bullfighting. Or, actually, running away from a baby bull or cow. The bull farm staff are on hand to keep you, and bully, in line.
Why not add chocolate mud wrestling!
Well, nothing gives more pleasure to a triumphant matador fresh from the ring. If you fancy really giving the horn to the stag, add chocolate mud wrestling with two strippers. Now that will make a real torero of the stag!

More about Madrid baby bull running or “capea”
Full details are shown elsewhere on this page (see the drop-downs). You can also read more here about a Madrid baby bullfighting. This activity includes return coach travel with our rep, safety information and a briefing.
Welcome drinks are provided on arrival before the bull running and a full lunch afterwards. It takes place on Saturdays, with Fridays and Sundays (and other days) possible depending on group size and time of year.
Our Baby Bull running is carried out with an energetic young cow or bull. Care must be taken to avoid bruising, or accidents like falling and twisting an ankle. This is not mortally dangerous like “real” bull sports and the animals are well looked after.

- Use the cape with skill, show your ability to turn the bull, try a few veronicas on him, and maybe somersault over the horns?
- Or maybe not, rather than make a bold bid for the annals of taurine history, you may just want to scarper as fast as possible behind the safety wall (yes, there is one!)
- A real Madrid bullfighter, in the shape of your instructor, will be there to assist and guide you, even though the rest of the group may proffer that your tauromaquia skills are more redolent of the non-horned end of the animal!
