Game of Thrones is an American fantasy drama television series created by David Benioff and D. B. Weiss. It is roughly based on the storylines of A Song of Ice and Fire, set in the fictional Seven Kingdoms of Westeros and the continent of Essos. The Alcazar of Seville was used as a location for scenes in Season Five.
The Alcazar represents is the Water Gardens of Dorne, private estate of the House of Martell. Dorne is the southernmost of the Seven Kingdoms in the series, and is the hottest and most exotic, famous for its excellent wine and licentious natives. The clothes of the Dornish are more richly coloured and elaborate than those of residents in other areas of the medieval-era world depicted in the series.
We are all huge GoT fans so it was a real thrill to see some of the exotic places where the filming had been done. Seville is beautiful! – Meagan,
