This one shines as high speed activity especially for adrenalin-seeking stag groups. The brand new (2017) state-of-the-art Valencia indoor go karting track provides g-force thrills to the most demanding of drivers. And even if you don’t know a Williams from a McLaren after the obligatory preliminary briefing the track staff you’ll be handling your car like a veritable Senna or Hamilton.
With real petrol engines that can go above 60 kmph (unless your…eh weight… puts a damper on the car’s power) these cars are the option of you really fancy your self behind the wheel. The Valencia indoor go karting track is excellent and two sessions on the track is plenty…if anyone wants to add more he can do so at the time.
Once you get your briefing and all the equipment and safety sorted out, you’ll be allocated a car and start racing against the clock. It’s all timed by the computer. Can you challenge the track record (you may wish you’d gone easy on the chips for the last…twelve?…years, because “fatter ain’t faster” – lightweight drivers defo go faster)? You’ll feel the immense thrill of the g-forces in your forearms as your rather daring and perfectly timed wheel manoeuvres combined plenty throttle send you niftily round those tight bends.
In the upstairs viewing bar, after the thrill of all those g-forces, you may want to stretch your aching forearms over the bar to lift a refreshing San Miguel, Cruzcampo or Mahou while perusing the time sheets (did anyone really take more than a minute to go round ?) With uphills, flyover and enough hairpins and chicanes to remind you of Monte Carlo and Brandshatch, you’ll be glad you heeded our recommendations and left your hangover back at the hotel.
